6th InStyle Awards

Following her attendance at the Baby2Baby gala, Kate Hudson and more attended the 6th annual Instyle Awards yesterday evening(November 15th) in LA.

Tessa Thompson rocked a dramatic piece from the CHRISTIAN SIRIANO SPRING 2022 collection and it was perfect for her and the occasion. The shape is odd and voluminous but it's nothing that Tessa can't handle, she looked amazing. 

Nicole Kidman wore an archival piece, a ARMANI PRIVE SPRING 2009 COUTURE purple sequin dress with a ruffle hem. I am not loving the hairstyle and I am glad that she removed he blazrer but she looked good in this dress. 

Kate Hudson posed a sparkling look which featured a gold sequin dress with a camel & gold sequin coat from the MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION FALL 2021. She looked good. 

Lori Harvey wore a black sequin MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION FALL 2021 dress with a flirty, cutout waist detail. She looked great but I prefer the model's length and the dress looks a little too loose on her. 

Reese Witherspoon also wore a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION sequin dress but from SPRING 2022. This maybe the same silhouette that she always wears but I am glad that she had the dress shorten with a split. It worked so much better this way for her. 

Hannah Einbinder suited up in FENDI FALL 2021 and to brighten up her dark look, she accessorized with a pastel bag. The bag doesn't really work and the pumps gets lost in the carpet but I like the suit.  

Elle Fanning ditched her Disney style for a edgy BALMAIN SPRING 2022 gold embellished top with a black maxi skirt. I feel like this top is more suited for someone like Zendaya but she is working it. I would swap out the skirt for trousers though. 

Kaia Gerber looked great wearing a playful ALEXANDER MCQUEEN SPRING 2022 embellished feather hem dress. I mean she is her mother's twin. 

Jurnee Smollett looked gorgeous wearing a VALENTINO RESORT 2022 sheer embroidered dress and the red lip added a nice balance of color.  

Alexandra Daddario wore a CHRISTIAN DIOR FALL 2021 red plaid ensemble and she carried a signature bag. Her ensemble was belted on the runway and I think that she should have kept it but other than, nice. 

Cindy Crawford worked a shimmery MISSONI SPRING 2022 knit dress and of course she looked good. 

Madeline Brewer wore a black bow cutout, CONG TRI FALL 2021 dress and thankfully she changed the briefs underneath from nude too black. However I wish the underlining on the top was black as well and the hairstyle is not working with the tone of the dress. 

Lana Condor wore a look from the GEORGES CHAKRA SPRING 2020 COUTURE collection. I actually like this, mainly the top half because those shorts aren't cute. 

Phoebe Dynevor wore a LOUIS VUITTON FALL 2020 dress but I don't get the black pumps with it. Gold ankle strap sandals would have been a betted choice. 

Storm Reid looked gorgeous wearing head to toe PRADA SPRING 2022. I like this new hair color that she is rocking and she has been killing it with the short cut. 

Christina Hendricks looked great wearing a ruffle floral PREEN BY THORNTON BREGAZZI dress but she didn't need whatever that is on her wrist.

Simone Biles showed a little skin a cutout ALIETTE dress but unfortunately this is more suited for someone on the taller side. Also the accessories don't compliment each other. But her head styling is flawless. 

Tiffany Boone wore a custom black sleeveless LAFAYETTE 148 sequin dress and I like her ''less is more'' approach with the styling. 

Jane Levy wore a black lace cutout, DUNDAS jumpsuit. The idea is cute but that cutout neckline is not working. 

Lucy Hale rocked a leggy look by DOLCE & GABBANA. We may not prefer the brand but this yellow sequin mini dress is cute. 

Miranda Kerry looked good in a DOLCE & GABBANA black & silver embellished dress with RAHAMINOV jewelry. 

Camila Mendes looked great as well wearing a look by PRADA which she accessorized with REAL FINE STUDIO jewelry.  

Regina Hall wore a SAINT LAURENT black belted jumpsuit and I think it's cute but that clutch feels to big with it. Also instead of wearing simple black sandals, she should have gone with embellished sandals. 

January Jones wore a SANDRA MANSOUR SPRING 2022 off-the-shoulder dress, styled with white boots. Give this dress to someone like Zendaya and the results would be so much better.
