Yesterday evening(April 26th), the 2023 TIME100 Gala took place at Jazz, Lincoln Center in New York City with the magazine's honoree's and more in attendance.
Ali Wong was my favorite. Wearing her signature glasses, she looked so beautiful in this custom THAI NGUYEN Ao Dai.
Michael B. Jordan looked great in a lavender TOM FORD suit but I don't like the texture of the tie. I wish that he wore a simple, printed style.
Doja Cat was on hand as the performer and I think this VALENTINO SPRING 2023 COUTURE number should have stayed on the runway.
Angela Bassett came through sparkling in a GAURAV GUPTA SPRING 2023 COUTURE black & gold sequin suit. With shoulder pads like this, her hair should have been completely off-the-shoulders. Also, I don't think she needed the focus pulling necklace and I wish that the bustier was left out.
Salma Hayek stepped out in a GUCCI dress that fit her perfectly which is rare. The dress has too much going on though.
Kim Kardashian wore a Vintage JOHN GALLIANO white dress. She looked good no doubt but we always see this look on her.
Lea Michele also went the vintage route, wearing g a THIERRY MUGLER FALL 1999 gown from TAB VINTAGE. She looked lovely but I dislike the mesh panel on the neckline.
Lindsey Vonn looked pretty in a ANTONIO GRIMALDI SPRING 2023 COUTURE red strapless dress. I just don't think the head styling matches what she is wearing.
Molly Ringwald sparkled in a RODARTE red sequin halter dress and she looked good.
Jennifer Coolidge wore a BALMAIN black velvet embellished dress and she could have left the sheer gloves out.
Aubrey Plaza wore a CAROLINA HERRERA FALL 2023 red cape mini dress and metallic heels would have finished this off nicely.
Drew Barrymore white and blue floral OSCAR DE LA RENTA dress with the matching cape. I feel like the hair and makeup doesn't compliment her look.
Natasha Lyonne wore a AREA RESORT 2023 dress and although she is pretty, I don't like the design of the top.
