2023 Baby2Baby Gala

On Saturday(November 11th) the 2023 Baby2Baby Gala which was presented by Paul Mitchell was held at the Pacific Design Center in LA.

Zoe Saldana looked pretty wearing a BALMAIN SPRING 2024 white & black floral mini dress and carrying a black bag. I am not 100% sold on the bra cups but this is still a great look. REZA jewelry and black ankle strap sandals finished up her look. 

Olivia Wilde also wore a BALMAIN SPRING 2024 dress. Her white & black dotted floor length dress featured a rose detail on the waist. I like this dress but I feel like she needed a pop of color and a off-the-shoulder hairstyle to elevate it.

Normani looked gorgeous wearing DOLCE & GABBANA but the dress looks too tight on the bust. I still like though.

Anna Diop was also in DOLCE & GABBANA and she looked fantastic in this red one-shoulder paillettes embellished gown. However, her gown looks too tight on the bust as well. 

Savannah James also stepped out in DOLCE & GABBANA and she did look beautiful but something about the way those straps looks is bugging me. 

Demi Lovato wore all black DOLCE & GABBANA like Savannah and I like the idea behind her look. However, that wrap detail on the waist doesn't look flattering. 

Alessandra Ambrosio served up a little drama, wearing a MONIQUE LHUILLIER SPRING 2024 pink strapless, taffeta gown.  I know we are use yo seeing her in really sexy, sheer pieces but I like when she switches things up like this. I like it. 

Jenna Dewan wore a MONIQUE LHUILLER FALL 2023 two-tone strapless dress which was accessorized with REZA jewelry. I am not a fan of the neckline. I wish that it came straight across instead of a ''v''.

Jordana Brewster also wore a dress from the MONIQUE LHUILLIER FALL 2023 collection. I can't say that this is my favorite ML piece, especially the visibility of the nude panel on the v-neckline. 

Lucy Hale could not be missed wearing this vibrant red MONIQUE LHUILLIER FALL 2023 strapless mermaid gown. I feel like she needed some sparkles to enhance her overall look. 

Nikkie Reed made a rare appearance wearing a MONIQUE LHUILLIER FALL 2023 red tulle beaded dress which was tied at the waist. A TYLER ELLIS clutch and a silver jewelry finished up her look. 

Sarah Hyland also made a rare appearance, wearing a dress by MONIQUE LHUILLIER. Her strapless cocktail dress was accessorized with MELIS GORAL jewelry, WOLFROD tights and JIMMY CHOO pumps.

Kim Kardashian wore the same BALENCIAGA FALL 2023 sheer black embroidered dress that we first saw on Isabelle Huppert at Cannes in May. The styling is the problem. Just like Isabelle, I wish black underlining was worn and the hair should have been off-the-shoulders. 

Camila Alves hasn't been on the carpet in a while and she returned wearing this dress from the HARBISON RESORT 2024 collection. She definitely should have kept the matching cape & gloves. Also, a more elegant hairstyle would have been ideal. 

Jessica Alba wore a TAMARA RALPH FALL 2023 COUTURE gold & white strapless dress and this is just okay for me. I feel like the cape added more drama to it. Also, the hairstyle is a bit too bland for this dress. 

Julie Bowen wore a rich burgundy MARMAR HALIM SPRING 2023 strapless sequin dress. I like the dress but not the make-up. 

Katharine McPhee wore a sexy MARIA LUCIA HOHAN red strapless dress with a TYLER ELLIS clutch. Probably one of her best looks. 

Co-Ceo's of Baby2Baby Kelly Sawyer-Patricof and Norah Weinstein posed together. Kelly wore a CHANEL SPRING 2023 dress with a playful feather hem and Norah wore a ANDREW GN FALL 2023 gold strapless, pleated dress. 

Kirsten Dunst wore a DRIES VAN NOTEN FALL 2023 sheer velvet floral dress. I am glad that the matching bolero was left out because it wasn't needed but I wish the necklace was added. 

Lori Harvey posed in a custom DEFAIENCE by NICOLA BACCHILEGA draped strapless gown. My only quibble is the bottom half. If only it wasn't sheer. 

Maria Sharapova wore a GABRIELA HEARST brown dress and better styling would have taken this out of the matronly territory. 

Michelle Monaghan wore a STAUD SPRING 2024 black one-shoulder crop top and a light blue taffeta ball gown skirt. This is not a bad look but it doesn't excite. 

Nicole Richie wore a rich burgundy velvet ALBERTA FERRETTI FALL 2023 high-neck gown with HOUSE OF HARLOW 1960 jewelry and a TYLER ELLIS clutch. 

Phoebe Tonkin wore a CHRISTOPHER ESBER SPRING 2024 sheer black, floor length dress with a cutout back. I'm not sure that I like this dress for this occasion and the top part doesn't look functional. 

Rachel Zoe stepped out in a MARC JACOBS SPRING 2020 gold dress and she is know for wearing loose clothing which is why the fit looks off.

Salma Hayek looked gorgeous wearing a custom BOTTEGA VENETA halter dress. This really fits her nicely. 

Hailey Bieber wore a simple SAINT LAURENT by ANTHONY VACCARELLO dress with a cutout back. I feel like statement jewelry and a colored lip would have made this more exciting. 

Sofia Richie wore a CHANEL PRE-FALL 2018 dress and I prefer the runway's styling. The dress loses its appeal on Sofia. 

Zooey Deschanel wore a PATOU SPRING 2024 dress which was shown as two pieces on the runway. Zooey version suits her better because the runway version is very tweenish. However, I don't like her shoe choice but it's what works for her.

Ayesha Curry utilized the split on her ALBERTA FERRETTI tonel blue, cutout dress. The dress would have been great without the cutout sides.

Heidi Klum wore a LEVER COUTURE black ruffle organza gown with a flowing train in the back. This is actually not a bad look for Heidi. 

Josephine Skriver wore a GIVENCHY FALL 2023 black blazer with a sheer, draped skirt underneath. It's not my favorite look but it's definitely a FMO(for model's only) look.

Molly Sims went the bridal route, wearing white couture gown by GALIA LAHAV. She definitely needed an off-the-shoulder hairstyle. A JUDITH LEIBER clutch finished up her look.

Elsa Hosk went the vintage route, wearing a ALAIA FALL 2001 COUTURE red halter dress and she looked pretty. 

Christine Ho wore a ZUHAIR MURAD PRE-FALL 2023 green ruffle, organza gown which was belted at the waist. I don't really like this and the neckline is a bit too wide.

Chrissy Teigen wore a AFFFAIR RESORT 2023 black one-shoulder dress with an embellished floral appliqué panel. Even though I would have liked to see her hair off-the-shoulders, she still looked pretty.
