2024 Billboard Women In Music Awards

On Wednesday(March 6th) the 2024 Billboard Women In Music awards was held at the YouTube Theater at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.

Victoria Monet looked gorgeous showing off her toned abs wearing a custom ROBERTO CAVALLI ensemble. 

Tracey Ellis Ross wore a custom LOEWE color-block draped dress and black pumps. The dress is fussy and weird, but Tracee has a knack for pulling off pieces like this. I’m not crazy about this, but it suits her.

Katy Perry wore a ELLIE MESNER ensemble with VIVIENNE WESTWOOD platform pumps. Love Katy, but there’s nothing about this that I like. However, she seemed to be having fun wearing it.

Kylie Minogue wore a DOLCE & GABBANA dress and the fringe details don’t work here. The dress looks unfinished and the crystal bra feels unnecessary.

Andra Day showed a little skin in a AZZI & OSTA SPRING 2023 black cutout, embellished dress. The dress would have been cuter without all the unnecessary cutouts.

Auli’i Cravalho wore a RICK OWENS FALL 2023 pink one-shoulder dress with a side split. The dress is a bit too long on her at the hem, but that’s clearly how it is supposed to be. Given the occasion, her look works.

Bailee Madison wore a WEIRAEN grey embellished dress and the neckline looks much better on her than it did on the model. I wish the dress was a bit more fitted on her and I think she needed heavier earrings.

Charli XCX dipped into the MAISON MARGIELA archives for this SPRING 2010 dress. I don’t like the grey panels, but she wore the dress so much better than the model did.

Charlotte Lawrence wore a SAINT LAURENT SPRING 2024 mini dress which we saw first on Virginie Efira in brown. The creases are unfortunate, but I wish the head styling was a bit better and some jewelry added.

Coco Jones a little skin as well, wearing a ANNAKIKI SPRING 2024 black cutout dress. The jewelry really helped to elevate her look.

Ellie Goulding wore a GAURAV GUPTA white strapless, sculpted dress. The bottom half of the dress doesn’t look flattering on her. 

Justine Skye wore a custom JUSTAS VONZODAS x J. PHOENIX LONDON bustier with a custom TRAVIS TADDEO skirt. The bustier is fire, but I’m feeling that skirt on her.

Karol G wore a ZUHAIR MURAD SPRING 2024 COUTURE gold embellished dress and I think the problem with her look is the color.

Maren Morris wore a TORY BURCH FALL 2023 dress and her look really needs a pop of color. If her mule sandals were the same color as the runways shoes, this would have worked.

McKenna Grace wore a DAVID KOMA SPRING 2024 black & silver embellished dress. Although I don’t like the hem, the runway’s styling is so much better.

Kat Graham wore a JEAN PAUL GAULTIER SPRING 2015 ensemble and she looked great. However, the pants needed to be hemmed.

Saweetie wore a DSQUARED2 SPRING 2024 black one-shoulder, cutout dress with a lobster brooch on the waist. The design of Saweetie’s dress is different than the runway’s version, but it look’s better.

Tems wore a custom ALAIA FALL 2022 black lace & feather panel dress. My only quibble is that I think the under layer pieces should have been black. Also, the feather cuffs were a bit too much.

Victoria Justice wore a DODONA AVDIU green metallic, halter dress. I would have liked to see her wearing a simple, gold metallic sandal with this. Also, I feel like this would be better on someone taller.
