36th Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards

On Friday(January 3rd) the 36th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Film twards took place at the Palm Springs Convention Center in Palm Springs, California.

Zoe Saldana wore a VICTORIA BECKHAM SPRING 2025 burgundy silk-chiffon, draped dress with a contrasting electric blue sequin hem. I love the color story here, but I feel like the different textures don't work together. That sequin hem feels too heavy with a such a delicate fabric. 

Colman Domingo wore head to toe VALENTINO SPRING 2025 and this is the first time that I can honestly say that I don't like his look. I wish that he didn't copied the runway's styling because this ensemble needed to be edited. Take away the gloves, the printed burgundy layer under the jacket, hem the pants and change the shoes to some loafers. I feel the outcome would have been better with an edit.

Andrew Garfield also wore VALENTINO, but his suit is from the RESORT 2025 collection. This is not totally bad in my opinion. A belt would have done him some justice. Also, I prefer the stripe shirt the pants was shown with in the look book and the gold studs on the collar gives it some character. 

Timothee Chalamet opted for a look by WRANGLER. Honestly, I am not feeling this all black ensemble and the pants needed to be hemmed. Lately, Timothee hasn't been taking the fashion risks that he is known for and I miss that about him. 

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande both wore looks by LOUIS VUITTON. Cynthia looked great in this two-tone dress, but those nail claws are distracting from the elegant appeal of her look. Ariana needs a style reset because this is not it. The color of the gown doesn't work on her, the head styling doesn't compliment it and those satin bridal pumps were the wrong shoe choice. 

Adrien Brody wore a LOUIS VUITTON FALL 2024 look and I am loving the coat. However, I kinda wish that he wore a tie. 

Nicole Kidman wore a Bespoke LOEWE gown that featured a mother-of-pearl iridescent corset and a draped, satin floor length skirt with a short flowing train. I am loving the color story here of the construction of the corset is amazing which can be seen HERE. However, I don't love the two pieces together and the creased skirt is so annoying. 

Amy Adams wore a black strapless dress by THOM BROWNE. I am still waiting on an unexpected, wow moment from Amy. This is forgettable. 

Mikey Madison wore a MIU MIU pink satin dress with TIFFANY & CO jewelry. She looked pretty, but this would have been so much better in a richer color.

Demi Moore wore a embellished suit from the CHANEL FALL 2024 COUTURE collection. I like this, but I wish that she left the big hair bow out. Also, the turtleneck is not working on her.

Isabella Rossellini wore a DOLCE & GABBANA yellow rose printed cape with a yellow ensemble underneath. I kinda wish she wore this as a dress because there is just too much yellow here. 

Karla Sofia Gascon showed off her décolletage in a VIVIENNE WESTWOOD black strapless, sequin dress. I like this, but it's sitting a little too low on the bust.

Selena Gomez is kicking things off in the right direction and I hope that this continues. She wore a sharp, in a three-piece suit by RALPH LAUREN. I kinda wish that she wore her hair down, but this is still a winning look.
