On Saturday( May 17th) the 2026 Kering Women in Motion Awards was held during the 79th annual Cannes Film Festival at the Place de la Castre in Cannes, France.
Colman Domingo looked sharp as always wearing another custom look by VALENTINO. The sparkly crop jacket is clearly the star.
Chloe Zhao wore a black BOTTEGA VENETA suit with the brand's signature woven detail on the collar. I like the idea of the suit, but it's just a little too baggy.
Julianne Moore wore a BOTTEGA VENETA SPRING 2026 ensemble. I like the idea of this, but the pants are a little too shiny and needed to be hemmed.
Ruth Negga and Carla Bruni wore different dresses by SAINT LAURENT. Ruth wore a sheer black lace, floor length dress. This wasn't a bad look, but I wish the undergarments were black and not nude. Carla wore a champagne silk slip gown which was toughen up with a black blazer and she looked great.
Diego Calva and Rami Malek also wore looks by SAINT LAURENT. Diego wore all black pieces with a grey printed scarf around his neck and tucked into his top. Rami wore an all black tuxedo and I feel like he needed a brooch or pin to make his all black look standout.
Daisy Edgar-Jones wore a GUCCI PRE-FALL 2026 white blazer with a bra underneath and floor length skirt. A half to an inch needed to be taken off at the hem, but other than that, I like this.
Salma Hayek and Demi Moore also wore GUCCI. Salma wore a white feathery, one-shoulder dress and she looked beautiful. Demi wore a purple off-the-shoulder dress and I don't get why she wore that necklace. I doesn't compliment her dress which also needed to be hemmed.
Sebastian Stan and Sophie Thatcher were also in GUCCI. Sebastian wore a shiny pinstripe suit that was perhaps too shiny and needed to be hemmed. Sophie wore a red metallic leather dress with a V off-the-shoulder neckline. Nothing here is working for me.
Charlotte Le Bon showed a little skin wearing a TOD'S SPRING 2026 two piece ensemble. This is right up her style alley, but not for this event.
Halsey wore a CHANEL SPRING 2009 white ruffle and bow detail blouse and I think that she should have wore the catsuit as well.
Kristine Froseth and Isabelle Huppert wore different looks by BALENCIAGA. Kristen wore strapless pleated dress and better styling could have saved this. Isabelle wore a classic white button down shirt with a purple floor length skirt, and she pulled off this look.
