Cate Blanchett in Delpozo and Camilla & Marc at the 2016 Film Independent Filmmaker Grant and Spirit Award Nominees Brunch & BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea

Following her attendance at the AFI awards, Cate Blanchett attended the 2016 Film Independent Filmmaker Grant & Spirit Award Nominees Brunch and the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea yesterday. 

First she attended the 2016 Film Independent Filmmaker Grant and Spirit Award Nominees Brunch which was held at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood, California. She wore a DELPOZO PRE-FALL 2016 navy, camel & orange three-quarter sleeve top with a flower detail and high waist navy & orange trousers. I love this statement look & I thought Cate looked great until I saw her GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI pumps. They look black but they are actually navy, however they still don't work for me. 

Next she attended the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills in LA. She wore a pink satin floral embroidered skirt paired with a black long sleeve CAMILLA & MARC shirt collar top. Once again she wore her favorite GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI pumps but in black. However even though I would prefer an ankle strap sandal here, the pumps actually work for me.

Alicia Vikander in Altuzarra & Louis Vuitton at the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea & the 40th LA Film Critics Association Awards

Yesterday Alicia Vikander was also making her rounds at events in LA ahead of her attendance at the Globes this evening. Check out her looks. 

First she attended the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. She wore a ALTUZARRA PRE-FALL 2016 short sleeve stripe dress with ruched sleeves. Alicia's dress was featured in the look book with a red belt which I do not favor. However I wouldn't have mind a belt. Black slingback pumps light make-up and side parted tresses finished up her look. 

Later on she attended the 40th Annual Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City, California. Alicia was head to toe LOUIS VUITTON which featured a white long sleeve dress with a crossover skirt that featured the 'LV' logo and ankle strap sandals. I like this look more, it's simple but yet sophisticated. Small drop earrings completed her look.

Priyanka Chopra in Alex Perry & Versace at the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea & 2016 Winter TCA Tour Party

Ahead of her attendance at the Globes, Priyanka Chopra made her rounds at two different events yesterday(January 9th) in LA.

First she attended the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. She wore a ALEX PERRY dress that featured a black long sleeve top, a patent snake panel bodice, a pink paneled waistband which provided a cinched waist and a black flare layered lace skirt with. Between the bow bun, dress and statement pumps, there is just so much going on here with this look. 

Later on that same dress she slipped into a VERSACE dress for the Disney/ABC 2016 Winter TCA Tour party at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, California. Her black cut-out layered dress with an emerald band, was teamed with a silver metallic clutch and LOUBOUTIN iridescent pumps. A side swept braid and complimentary make-up completed her look.

BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea Wrap-up

Yesterday the BAFTA Los Angeles Awards Season Tea too place at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills in LA. 

Rooney Mara stepped out in a custom look from the PROENZA SCHOULER SPRING 2016 collection. Her white & black trim ruffle off-the-shoulder halter dress featured a dainty bow detail. The dress was teamed with her favorite NICHOLAS KIRKWOOD black wedges. A slick side parted up-do and light make-up completed her look. 

Brie Larson GABRIELA HEARST SPRING 2016 long sleeve navy sheer knit top and a cream, black, orange & fuchsia stripe skirt. I liked Brie's look but I can't understand why she would wear a white tank under this sheer top. Also as much as I like the PAUL ANDREW pumps, they don't work here either. 

Saoirse Ronan stood out in a LELA ROSE PRE-FALL 2016 coral short sleeve dress with a contrasting sheer printed embroidered neckline & sleeves. I am not  I like the addition of the ALEXANDRE BIRMAN orange & fuchsia knot detail sandals which topped off her look.
