Camila Morrone looked simply beautiful wearing a VIVIENNE WESTWOOD black one-shoulder, draped corset gown with a short train. I like her less is more approach here. It really worked for her. 

Patricia Arquette looked lovely wearing a black pleated dress which was accessorized with gold jewelry, a purple clutch and platform sandals.

Along with Penelope Cruz, Camila Morrone also hit the carpet for the 1st ''Nouvelles Vagues'' International Biarritz Film Festival opening ceremony on Wednesday(June 28th) in Biarritz, France. 

Wearing CHANEL like Penelope Cruz, she chose red strapless tweed top with the matching mini skirt from the PRE-FALL 2023 collection. In the look book, her ensemble was shown with the matching jacket but I am glad that she left it out because it was not needed. 

However, I feel like she should have gone with metallic sandals instead of black. It would have been a better finish to her look. What do you think of Camila's look?

Following her previous outing, Emilia Jones and so many other celebs hit the green carpet on Saturday(September 25th) for the opening gala of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA.

Regina Hall wore a playful JULIEN MACDONALD SPRING 2020 semi see-through, mint fringe dress which was styled with STUART WEITZMAN sandals. I am not loving the dress but Regina looked good in it. 

Nicole Kidman posed alongside Regina wearing a RODARTE SPRING 2022 embellished floral dress which was accessorized with a black clutch and GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI heels. I am not loving the hair or the shoes with this dress. I feel like she needed a sleeker hairstyle and simple black sandals.

Regina King was beautiful and my best dressed pick in a ATELIER VERSACE peach-toned silk dress with an asymmetric bodice, done entirely in hand-embroidered Swarovski crystals which she accessorized with HARRY WINSTON jewelry and STUART WEITZMAN jewelry. The simplistic beauty look allowed her gown to remain center stage as it should.

Cynthia Erivo also wore custom ATLIER VERSACE and she utilized the split on her white one-shoulder gown, which she accessorized with PIAGET jewelry and STUART WIETZMAN sandals. I am loving all of this.

Camila Morrone is still making her rounds to promote 'Mickey and the Bear' and last night(November 12th) she attended the premiere at the Mondrian in New York.

For her appearance, she chose the HELLESSY RESORT 2020 'Yayoi' white one-shoulder dress with pleated draped, butterfly sleeves and a elongated tail in the back. 

The dress was shown in a green printed version in the look book and while I prefer the look & styling of it, Camila delivered in the white version.

She dressed up her look with SWAROVSKI jewelry and GIANVITO ROSSI sandals which topped off her look along with a center part, half-up half-down hairstyle.

Kiki Layne has been on point since day one of her debut on the red carpet last year. Her beauty look was flawless and she definitely pulled off this all-over sequin embroidered gown which was accessorized with jewelry from the fashion house as well. 

Regina King didn't disappoint either, she looked beautiful in a color-block sequin panel dress, which was topped off with a flawless beauty look.

Yesterday evening(September 12th) in LA, Chanel and Margot Robbie hosted a dinner at the iconic Chateau Marmont Hotel in celebration of the new 'Gabrielle Chanel Essence' fragrance and advertising campaign. The guest who were wearing CHANEL, enjoyed cocktails by the pool followed by an intimate candlelit dinner with a set by DJ Zuri Marley and a performance from Shaed.

Margot Robbie led the way wearing a FALL 2019 COUTURE white ruffle pleated peplum top, which was belted at the waist and black silk trousers. The could have been hemmed and I wish the hair was in a sleek, side parted up-do but she still sells the look.

She posed for the gram wearing a SELF-PORTRAIT PRE-FALL 2019 floral & lace jersey-crepe maxi dress, featuring a flattering twisted neckline, which falls to a fluid, slit detail maxi skirt. If Camila's print looks familiar, that's because Maia Mitchell wore the same print but in a different dress silhouette. 

While the asymmetrical, pleated detail on the skirt poses a tricky shape, I actually like this piece on Camila. She looked pretty and the floral Pre-Fall number worked nicely for the season and occasion. GIANVITO ROSSI pumps, and a complimentary beauty look rounded out her look.

2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala Wrap-up

Yesterday evening(November 3rd) the 2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Catherine Opie and Guillermo del Toro & presented by Gucci, took place at the LACMA in LA. Dakota Johnson was one of my top favorites, wearing this black long sleeve, center front split cape gown, which featured an embellished neck and a sheer illusion yoke. 

Kiki Layne chose a difficult piece but I have to say, that she has me sold. Her color-block ruffle sequin embellished gown was topped off with a simple but flawless beauty look. My favorite of the night.

Lana Del Ray wore a black silk embellished, center front split dress, featuring a v-neckline and long glove sleeves. The creases are a bit distracting here but given the fabric, it's no surprise that they are there.
