Carey Mulligan is back on the promo trail for her new film 'The Ballad of Wallis Island' and she attended a screening at the Ham Yard Hotel in London on Wednesday(May 28th).

if you know Carey's style, then you know she is not one to wear accessories or step outside her comfort zone with it comes to her beauty look. This PRADA black satin, scoop neckline dress featured contrasting pink pipping on the neckline.  

The is basic, but not in a bad way. However, her look overall doesn't excite and some slightly, heavier jewelry could have elevated this and made her look a bit more exciting. What do you think of Carey's look?

On Wednesday(March 26th) Carey Mulligan and Michelle Monaghan were spotted arriving for appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote their separate projects.

Carey Mulligan in Schiaparelli Couture at the ''Spaceman'' 74th Berlin International Film Festival Premiere

Yesterday evening(February 21st) in Berlin, Germany, Carey Mulligan hit the red carpet for the premiere of 'Spaceman' which was held during the 74th Berlin International Film Festival.

Even since Carey started working with stylist Andrew Mukamal, you could see the elevation of her style. She still keeps it simple sometimes, but for the most part, she has been taking fashion risks. For this occasion, she chose a SCHIAPARELLI SPRING 2024 COUTURE dress which is hot off the fashion house newest couture show. 

The black strapless, velvet dress was adorned with a contrasting nude, silk-chiffon panel which draped from the front hem to the back neckline. The draping is weirdly unique, and that's not a bad thing. I think that it adds character to the simple design of this velvet dress. 

However, I wish that the draping was done in a different color other than this nude hue. Also, I wish there were some jewelry. Still, I think Carey managed to wear it well. What do you think of Carey's look?
