On Sunday(November 30th) the 28th British Independent Film Awards ceremony was held at the Roundhouse in London.
Andrea Risenborough wore a black velvet halter dress by FENDI. If I had to nitpick, I wish that she added a necklace versus whatever that is on her wrist. Other than that, she looked great.
Carey Mulligan wore a sage green strapless dress by PRADA. For me, nothing is working here. The color, design nor the head styling.
Jessica Brown Findlay wore a dress that was based off of a two-piece ensemble which was shown in the PRADA FALL 2017 collection. I actually prefer Jessica's updated version. It's a bit more interesting and chic.
Joseph Quinn wore a VALENTINO RESORT 2026 and with the exception of the socks and shoes, the look book's styling is more impactful.
Alexander Skarsgard wore a custom look by VALENTINO. That electric blue shirt enhanced his look, but the tie and shoes throws it off.
Paul Mescal wore a VIVIENNE WESTWOOD suit with CARTIER jewelry. This would have been great if he wore a regular button down shirt. That high, twisted neckline is weird.
Emily Watson wore a ROKSANDA dress and so many things are wrong here. The color does not work in her favor, nor does the head styling. Also, the flats are not appealing.
Harris Dickinson wore a PAUL SMITH SPRING 2026 stripe suit. A tie and/or a brooch would have done his look some justice.
Ruth Wilson wore a JW ANDERSON RESORT 2026 ensemble. I can't say that the pants were an interesting choice for her because the style is right up her alley. I get the idea behind, but I'm not sold. Maybe, if she wore a top that was more fitted.
