2022 American Music Awards

The 2022 American Music Awards took place yesterday evening(November 20th) in LA at the Microsoft Theater with Wayne Brady on hand as the host. 

Kelly Rowland was perhaps my favorite of the night and this is definitely one of her best looks. She looked fantastic wearing a NICOLAS JEBRAN COUTURE gown with latex opera gloves. The only thing that I would change here are the pumps. A simple ankle strap sandal would have been a better shoe choice.

The 56th Annual CMA Awards took place at the Bridgestone Arena last night(November 9th) in Nashville.

Jessica Chastain wore a GUCCI navy & black lace embellished dress and she looked beautiful. 

Miranda Lambert wore a vintage MUGLER pink satin & black lace gown with a TYLER ELLIS clutch. I'm don't 100% like the yoke panel but this is a great look for her.

The 2022 CMT Music Awards took place yesterday evening(April 12th) at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Carrie Underwood wore a DOLCE & GABBANA purple leopard, sequin mini dress. The dress is cute on her but I don't get the black pumps. Ankle strap or strappy sandals would have been better.

Mickey Guyton wore a REEM ACRA smokey lavender & silver v-neck beaded gown. Something about that bodice looks off too me but she looked pretty in general.

Yesterday evening(March 7th) in Las Vegas, Nevada, the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards took place and some of country's biggest stars were in attendance..

Lil Nas X is having a big year musically and on the fashion end. He always comes through with the coolest cowboy looks and this time was no different. I am here for his NATASHIA MIYAZAKI ensemble. 

Pink rocked a JULEA DOMANI BY ZEENA ZAKI rust orange, ruffle panel dress, which she accessorized with a hat. This is not a bad look and she wears hats well.

Sarah Hyland, Kate Bosworth, Michelle Monaghan and more attended the 2019 CMT Music Award at the Bridgestone Arena yesterday evening(June 5th) in Nashville, Tennessee.

Carrie Underwood walked away a winner and performed at the event but before all of that, she posed on the carper in a MICHAEL CINCO beaded embroidered mini dress. A sheer nude panel was added to the v-neckline for coverage. She looks great but this feels familiar for her.

Yesterday evening(April 7th) the celebs hit the grey carpet for the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

Nicole Kidman was on hand to support hubby Keith Urban. She tends to chose hard to wear pieces and this time was no different. Her CHRISTOPHER KANE FALL 2019 black crystal lace & mesh panel midi dress. The v-neck was shorten on Nicole's dress which worked in her favor. The sleeves are weird and the dress is not the prettiest. However for some reason I like it and I can only see Nicole wearing this dress, no one else.

Camila Cabello who walked a winner & performed, wore a GIORGIO ARMANI black beaded corset & trousers which she accessorized with a black clutch & sandals and sparkly jewelry.

Carrie Underwood showed off her baby bump wearing a STEVEN KHALIL black velvet & gold embellished, cold-shoulder gown. Instead of wearing gold strap sandals, she opted for gold pumps. It's a bit different fro her usually frilly looks and she looked great.

Leighton Meester showed a little skin wearing a custom SONIA RYKIEL black & white velvet dress with a crisscross, cutout halter neckline and a embellished waist. A JIMMY CHOO clutch, MESSIKA jewelry and a complimentary beauty look rounder out her look.

Carrie Underwood was all smiles posing on the red carpet yesterday(June 22nd) at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards at the Loews Hollywood Hotel in LA.

For the occasion, she wore a MSGM lip printed dress with a long sleeve sheer dotted tulle overlay and jewel embroidery which she paired with patent leather blush & nude sandals by MARCO PROIETTI sandals.

For me, I like the dress but I don't see it as a good style fit for Carrie Underwood. Although tulle is her thing. Also the hair should have been completely off-the-shoulder. DENA KEMP jewelry finished up her look. Do you think Carrie pulled this look off?

Style wise, I think Carrie Underwood needs to switch things up. Before her performance, she posed on the grey carpet this evening(April 2nd) at the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards at the Toshiba Plaza in Las Vegas. 

She stepped out in a sleeveless nude organza & silver beaded LABOURJOISIE floor length layered gown with a cape detail waist and a high neckline. 

I really feel like I have seen Carrie in something like this before. She looks pretty but style wise, it doesn't feel like anything new for her. Side parted tresses, smokey eyes and sparkly jewelry rounded out her look. Are you feeling Carrie's look?

Before her performance, Carrie Underwood posed on the red carpet at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards this evening(February 12th) at the Staples Center in LA.

On tune with the red carpet, she wore a long sleeve red beaded ELIE MADI SPRING 2017 beaded floor length dress with a mandarin collar, a cut-out bodice and a center front split. Carrie stated on the red carpet how much she loved this designer and this dress. 

I like the dress for this awards but I am not feeling those sleeves. Also I wish she went with a simpler sandals over the platform JIMMY CHOO'S that she is wearing. A wavy up-do, smokey eyes and NIGAAM & RANDALL SCOTT fine jewelry finished up her look. Are you feeling Carrie's red look?

Carrie Underwood in Yanina Couture at the American Idol Grand Finale

Following her attendance at the ACM awards earlier this week, Carrie Underwood returned to the stage for the American Idol Grand Finale last night at the Dolby Theater in LA.

She wore a YANINA SPRING 2015 COUTURE black & white tulle feathered peplum dress with a plunging neckline, a black beaded waistband and a sheer skirt which showed off her legs. On the runway, the neckline of the dress is a little wider. 

However on Carrie, the neckline was a bit narrower and lined with a sheer nude panel that was also featured on the side to provide coverage. However the design of this dress is a bit odd especially with the sheer panel skirt in the middle. I kinda feel this dress needs someone with an edgier attitude to make it. Beauty wise, she went with her signature, a smokey eye which was offset with a glossy nude lip and a straight side parted bob which topped off her look. Do you think Carrie pulled this off?

Working her legs, Carrie Underwood was on hand for the 58th GRAMMY Awards at the Staples Center this evening in LA.

She hit the carpet in a NICOLAS JEBRAN FALL 2015 COUTURE strapless satin gown with a ruffled cup, a knot detail on the waist and high side from split. I would have loved to see Carrie with a strappy sandal over her GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI slingback sandals. 

Usually, we can catch Carrie rocking her signature big curls or feathered layered tresses but on this occasion she went with straight pulled back locks. Smokey eyes offset with a nude lip and statement jewelry topped off her look. What do you think of Carrie's look?
