76th EE BAFTA Awards

Following the nominee party, Angela Bassett, Naomi Ackie, Eddie Redmayne, Michelle Yeoh and more attended the 76th EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) at Royal Festival Hall yesterday evening(February 19th). 

Angela Bassett looked beautiful wearing a custom PAMELLA ROLAND gown which was accessorized with BOUCHERON. This lavender hue looked fantastic on her and even though the sleeves are the problem here, Mrs. Bassett is somehow selling it to me.

Jodie Turner-Smith knows how to sell these difficult GUCCI gown and she did just that with this creation. The color looked amazing on her, the jewelry enhanced her look and her beauty look was flawless as always.

Following the nominees reception, Lashana Lynch, Ariana Debose and more attended the 2022 EE British Academy Film Awards at Royal Albert Hall on yesterday evening(March 13th) in London.

Lady Gaga made her way to the carpet wearing a custom RALPH LAUREN gown, accessorized with TIFFANY & CO jewelry and of course her signature, towering platform boots. She looked beautiful.

Ella Balinska in Giambattista Valli Couture at the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards

Following the Pre-BAFTA party, Ella Balinska made her way to the red carpet this evening(February 2nd) in London for the 73rd EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall.

Her GIAMBATTISTA VALLI FALL 2019 COUTURE pink floral ruffle mini dress featured a flowing train panel in the back. Looking through her images, the dress definitely has more impact in motion. 

She looks pretty but I am confused as to why CASADEI pumps in black was worn here instead of a silver metallic, white or even pink ankle strap sandal or pumps. Her look was completed with a high ponytail and pink smokey eyes. What do you think of Ella's look?

2019 EE British Academy Film Awards Wrap-up

The 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards took place this evening at the Royal Albert Hall in London. To see all of the celeb looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up. 

Laura Harrier naturally wore a LOUIS VUITTON dress, which accessorized with BULGARI jewelry. This is such a laid look for such a big event but I like the color. Her vibrant tangerine pleated dress was offset with gold sandals. 

Regina King who attended a pre-party, was beautiful in a ATELIER VERSACE fuchsia gown & gown clutch, which she also teamed with BULGARI jewelry and STUART WEITZMAN. 

Amy Adams posed in a PRADA burgundy gown, which featured bow detail shoulders, a v-neckline, a belted waist and a train on the back. This is somewhat out of her comfort but if it wasn't for the brooch, this would have been really boring.

When it comes down to her style, Thandie Newton stays consistent. The actress attended the 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall this evening(February 10th) in London.

She brought a little drama courtesy of VALENTINO. She sold me on her PRE-FALL 2019 black & white ruffle tulle gown. While the model utilized the straps on the gown on the runway, Thandie ditched. 

However the strapless fit nicely across her bust which sometimes tend to go the other way on some celebs. The bodice is a bit sheer which makes her nipples visible, most likely because of the camera flash but it doesn't put me off. Her beauty look was flawless which topped off her beautiful look along with SOLANGE AZAGURY- PARTRIDGE earrings.

Making her first red carpet this year, Cate Blanchett stepped out for the 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall this evening(February 10th) in London.

Rocking darker locks, she wore a CHRISTOPHER KANE SPRING 2019 black center front split dress, featuring a cutout colorful, gemstone deep v-neckline. On the runway, Cate dress was shown in a knee length version. 

However I love the longer version on her. Although I would have preferred ankle strap sandals or pumps. Dark haired Cate is definitely going to take some getting use to. What do you think of Cate's overall look?

Following her attendance at a pre-party, Margot Robbie was on hand for the 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall this evening(February 10th) in London.

Wearing another look from the CHANEL SPRING 2019 COUTURE collection, she wore a white embellished and navy & black pleated tulle gown. This is one of my favorite pieces from this collection and I knew one of their brand ambassadors would have picked it this awards season. 

This is definitely an entrance maker and the details gives it impact. To compliment the detailed gown, Margot wore her hair in an up-do. Her look was topped off with an blue kohl rimmed eye which was offset with a pink lip.

Continuing to make her rounds this awards, Linda Cardellini attended the 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards at Royal Albert Hall in London this evening(February 2019. 

Working somewhat of a princess look, she wore a PAOLO SEBASTIAN FALL 2018 white strapless, tulle layered tea length dress. Although it is not visible, Linda's dress features white polka dots and a contrasting silver waistband. 

Her dress hit the bridal border but it works. I think the only issue here it the make-up. With such a delicate dress, she should have gone with a softer eye and ditched the rosy cheeks because the pink lip was enough. Also a sleeker hairstyle would have been complimentary. Mary J. Blige went the power suit route, wearing a white suit, featuring a beaded panel on the jacket, a belted waist and a draped panel that flowed into a side train. Despite the jacket having a snug fit on her, I do like this suit. Her look was topped off with side parted curls, a smokey eye, LORRAINE SCHWARTZ earrings, DAVID MORRIS rings, and a JIMMY CHOO clutch & pumps.

Following her attendance at a nominees party, Cynthia Erivo attended the 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards this evening(February 10th) at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Whether it is a hit or miss, Cynthia always takes a fashion risk and this VERA WANG SPRING 2019 BRIDAL look is no different. You may remember that Sofia Boutella wore a similar version. Granted I love the drama of this big nude and purple tulle gown but I am not sold. 

The bustier top is extremely tight and in several of her red carpet images, she can see a partial nipple. Love Cynthia but if the styling/fit was better, this could have been a win. What do you think of Cynthia's look?

Her style maybe a little predictable but she tends to deliver. Awe Ashton was on hand for the 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards this evening(February 10th) at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Wearing her third look from this collection, she wore a ROKSANDA SPRING 2019 fuchsia high-low hem gown, featuring contrasting velvet straps and a ruffle pleated back. While she could have easily gone with heels, Zawe wore black flats. 

However I think oxfords would have worked so much better, to add a touch of masculinity to her feminine gown. Playing off of the hue of her dress, a semi matching lip was added to her beauty look. The only downfall here, is the shape is coming off as a maternity piece. What do you think of Zawe's look?

On the beauty end, she went with straight behind-the-ear tresses and pink lip color, which topped off her look along with small red earrings and silver metallic sandals.

Lily Collins was on hand for the 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall this evening(February 10th) in London.

Turning to one of her go to designer brands, she wore a feminine GIVNECHY SPRING 2019 COUTURE blue floral embellished and lace gown, which got a masculine touch via the blue crop tuxedo jacket. 

The color is strong and makes an worthy impact but I can't help but feel this needs to be on someone taller. Lily loves an vampy lip and it worked perfectly against the blue hue. Matching blue stone rings, and a slick center part ponytail finished up her look. Do you think Lily pulls it off?

Claire Foy is wearing a piece from the collection for a second time. She chose a green strapless, floor sweep dress, featuring a draped fringe panel and a slit. Without the fringe panel, this would have been really boring but it adds a touch of movement to her loose fitting dress. Also the color lip helps to keep it alive. However her look still doesn't excite.
