74th Golden Globes Awards Wrap-up

Reese Witherspoon wore a yellow ATELIER VERSACE floor length dress with a split v-neckline and a thigh-high split. This is definitely something that we have seen Reese in before but the color makes it standout.

Gina Rodriguez got her shake on while on the carpet wearing a white NAEEM KHAN beaded fringe halter gown with a deep v-neckline. Simple but pretty.

Teresa Palmer returned to the carpet looking beautiful in a ARMANI PRIVE navy velvet gown with cut-out tulip inspired sleeves and a cut-out beaded back. A mirrored clutch, a side parted slick bun and red lips finished up her look.

Sarah Paulson in Marc Jacobs at the 74th Golden Globe Awards

Sarah Paulson walked away a winner this evening(January 8th) at the 74th Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

She actress sparkled on the red carpet wearing a MARC JACOBS SPRING 2017 long sleeve gold sequin floor length dress with padded shoulders and a cut-out back. My only quibble about this dress, is that I wish the skirt was fitted.

Beauty wise, she complimented her a short center front cut and a light smokey eye offset with a pink lip. I wish she went with a different colored lip to balance out this look. NEIL LANE jewelry and a ROGER VIVIER clutch topped off her look.

Viola Davis & Sienna Miller in Michael Kors Collection at the 74th Golden Globe Awards

Viola Davis & Sienna Miller both wore MICHAEL KORS this evening(January 8th) at the 74th Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

Viola Davis walked away a winner wearing a vibrant yellow one-shoulder floor length sequin dress. The design is very similar to her Critics Choice awards look but this color just looks amazing on her. A white clutch, sparkly jewelry and a complimentary beauty look finished up her look. 

Sienna Miller wore a white short sleeve beaded floor length dress with a cut-out waist. This flirty cut-out dress looks great on Sienna but I am not a fan of the hair & make-up and the black clutch feels like an after-thought.

If you haven't seen 'Insecure' on HBO, you are truly missing a great show from the star & creator, Issa Rae. The nominated actress attended the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards this evening(January 8th) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

She hit the red carpet in a custom CHRISTIAN SIRIANO white long sleeve beaded mock neck gown. This white looks amazing against her skin and for her first globe appearance, she delivered. 

Hair & make-up was flawless and her accessories added a nice compliment to her overall look. One of my top favorites indeed. What do you think of Issa's look?

Mandy Moore looked beautiful for her attendance this evening(January 8th) at the 74th Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA. 

She wore a NAEEM KHAN FALL 2016 dark nave silk-chiffon gown with an matching cape detail, a plunging v-neckline and a braided belt which provided a cinched waist. 

Plunging necklines are a tricky detail which can be unflattering depending on the design. This neckline is a little on wide on Mandy but it doesn't look bad. This is not a wow moment but I actually think this is one of her best looks. Off-the-shoulder waves and smokey eyes offset with a pink lip finished up her look.

Whether we like it or not, Sarah Jessica Parker always has fun with fashion. The nominee attended the 74th Golden Globe Awards this evening(January 8th) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

She hit the red carpet in a VERA WANG BRIDAL FALL 2017 white long sleeve gown with a deep v-neckline, cold shoulders, a embellished waist and train detail. SJP had the v-neckline shorten which I think worked in her favor. 

She seemed to be paying homage to Carrie Fisher's 'Princess Leia' character via her braided crown. Working her signature smokey eye, she finished up her look with a selection of silver jewelry. Are you sold on SJP's bridal look?

Nicole Kidman hit the red carpet this evening(January 8th) at the 74th Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

Nicole seems to love the ALEXANDER MCQUEEN SPRING 2017 collection because she is wearing another look from the line. Her sheer white & silver sequin gown featured cold-shoulders, long sleeves, a bustier top and a ruffled tulle hem. 

On the runway, the gown was shown with nude briefs for coverage but Nicole added full nude underlining to hers. A wavy braided hairstyle, smokey eyes offset with pink lips and a statement necklace finished up her look. Nicole said on the carpet that she loved this gown when she saw it, especially the sleeves. So are you sold on Nicole's look like she is?

On hand as a presenter, Zoe Saldana attended the 74th Golden Globe Awards this evening(January 8th) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

The actress wore a custom GUCCI gown which featured a pink ruffled v-neck gown, a satin bow tie waist and a watermelon ruffled tier floor length skirt. I love the color combination here which looks great on Zoe.

Versace is one of Naomi's go to brands and this gown is right up her alley. However I would have liked to see her with a maroon colored lip. Straight off-the-shoulder tresses and black sandals completed her look.

Nominee Kerry Washington attended the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards this evening(January 8th) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

She hit the red carpet in a DOLCE & GABBANA EVENING gold lace embellished calf length dress with a bustier top and black high waist briefs underneath for coverage. Kerry's dress was featured in a the look book in a floor length version but I don't mind her length. 

Kerry definitely worked this dress on the carpet but I wish she went with matching briefs over the black. For the most part, I loved her beauty look. SOPHIE WEBSTER sandals and NIKAWA jewelry finished up her look. Do you like the shorter version or do you prefer the longer version for the event?

For the second time in a row, she wore a LOUIS VUITTON SPRING 2017 look. Her semi-sheer black & white belted dress featured a side front split detail. 

If this looks familiar, Michelle Williams wore a very similar version in November 2016. A lot of piece in this collection will be hard to translate on the red carpet and this look proves that. The dress is complicated in design and I am not a fan of it. Straight tresses, smokey eyes and 650k worth of FOREVERMARK jewelry finished up her look.  What do you think of Sophie's look?

On hand as a presenter, Brie Larson made her first red carpet outing this year at the 74th Golden Globe Awards this evening(January 8th) at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

On tune with the carpet, she wore a custom RODARTE strapless pleated chiffon gown with a beaded tulle bodice. When I first heard that Brie was wearing Rodarte, I was not expecting this. 

I was looking for a beaded lace & ruffled heavily detailed number. This reminded me of J. Mendel but the actress looked simply beautiful & elegant and I love the color.
