For Spring 2014, Christian Siriano took inspiration from a vacation trip to Isla Mujeres around Mexico. Siriano's forte is evening-wear but the designer proved once again why his day-wear pieces should matter. The pieces in the collection were feminine and flirty with lots of movement.
The runway was packed with vibrant colors, florals and some raffia & ostrich feather pieces were mixed in. My favorite picks were the black & white zig zag crop top with the matching skirt and a strapless yellow cape crop top with crop pants. Also a coral floral applique cape dress caught my eye as well.
