On Sunday(June 28th) Druski hosted the highly anticipated 2026 BET Awards which was held at the Peacock Theater in LA. 

Teyana Taylor beautifully served up some drama wearing a STEPHANE ROLLAND SPRING 2026 COUTURE gown. I love the color on her and her beauty look was simple but flawless. However, the beaded rectangle detail on the neckline is the only thing bugging me. I like the idea of having jewelry there, I think it's just the shape of it.

Nia Long in Mugler at 'Live with Kelly & Mark'

Following the LA premiere, Nia Long was spotted at 'Live with Kelly & Mark' to promote her new film ''Michael'' in New York on Wednesday(April 22nd).

For her appearance, Nia opted for a vintage skirt suit by MUGLER. Her black skirt suit featured small silver circle hardware on the front and a hardware closure that nipped the waist. 

It was a sophisticated, business look with edge that was perfect for her morning interview. Beauty wise, her look was kept simple with a center part ponytail and a glossy colored lip. Silver jewelry and black slingback pumps finished up her look.

'Michael' LA Premiere

Following their attendance at the AFI award, Colman Domingo and Nia Long joined more celebs at the premiere of Lionsgate's ''Michael'' which was held at the Dolby Theatre on Monday(April 20th) in Hollywood, California. 

Colman Domingo wore a custom tuxedo by VALENTINO. He looks great of course but I am not a fan of the droopy tie. 

Jaafar Jackson wore a black suit by SAINT LAURENT and a diamond brooch saved his look from being boring.

On Saturday(April 18th) the 51st AFI Lifetime Achievement Award: A Tribute Celebrating Eddie Murphy was held at the Dolby Theatre in LA.

Autumn Durald Arkapaw wore head to toe THOM BROWNE and she looked great. This is her go to brand and rightfully so because she wears it well. 

Colman Domingo's style is always on point and he didn't disappoint in this custom look by ALEXANDER MCQUEEN. The top coat is easily the star here and he looked great.

The premiere of ''You People'' was held yesterday evening(January 17th) at the Regency Village Theatre in LA.

Julia Louis-Dreyfrus wore a CONG TRI SPRING 2023 and I love this brand but this dress is just bad. The top is over-designed and unflattering. 

Nia Long wore a white strapless, floor length dress that hits the bridal border. Nia is a gorgeous woman but I am not sold on this. I feel like she needed a necklace and about an inch off the hem.

Yesterday evening(August 13th) Corinne Foxx, Sistine Stallone and Nia Long hit the red carpet for the '47 Meters Down Uncaged' premiere at Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California.

Corinne Foxx chose the ALLEN SCHWARTZ 'Brandi' color-block dress which featured a white bustier, with contrasting black thin straps and a eye-catching yellow sequin skirt. I think she should have gone with mules here like the model over these GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandal but the dress fits her perfectly. Pulled back tresses,  and NEIL LANE jewelry finished up her look.

Laura Harrier and more attended the 2018 HFPA Annual Grants Banquet at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA yesterday evening(August 9th).

Regina King looked great in the SAFIYAA RESORT 2018 'Revanna' red strapless bow, knee length dress which she teamed with gold jewelry and metallic sandals.

Cynthia Erivo who performed at the event, wore a MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION FALL 2018 navy & black strapless beaded asymmetrical dress which she accessorized with EVA FEHREN jewelry and SOPHIA WEBSTER pumps. Loved her beauty look which topped off her look.

Joey King wore a ALESSANDRA RICH FALL 2017 white long lace sleeve & ruffle cady mini dress, with a v-neckline which was adorned with contrasting black bow. Instead of wearing black sandals, she opted for pumps. This dress works for the young starlet but the hair should have been off-the-shoulder.

Nia Long in Vintage YSL at BET's 2017 American Black Film Festival Honors Awards

On Friday(February 17th) Nia Long hit the carpet at BET's 2017 American Black Film Festival Honors awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

For her appearance, she wore a Vintage YSL light blue one-shoulder ruffled tiered mini dress. This is a cute mini dress which is on trend. However I have a few quibbles. 

I feel like a sleek, off-the-shoulder hairstyle would have worked better and I would have loved to see her with a complimentary pink or fuchsia lip shade. She finished up with a silver ankle strap sandal. What do you think of Nia's look?

Naomie Harris wore a black strapless STELLA MCCARTNEY layered dress with flap pockets and a sheer organza floor length skirt. This reminds me of that Dior piece that Emma Stone wore to the SAG awards in 2015. A CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA clutch, NEIL RODGERS sandals, pulled back tresses and smokey eyes finished up her look.

Kylie Bunbury for the hit series 'Pitch', looked lovely in a green KAYAT SPRING 2016 draped chiffon gown with double straps and a high split. Her dress was shown in the look book with a matching sheer chiffon cape which she opted not to wear & did not need.

Evan Rachel Wood who walked away a winner, loves her suits so it is no surprise seeing her rocking this ALTUZARRA PRE-FALL 2017 black belted two-piece suit. LOUBOUTIN black satin pumps, minimal make-up and a short side parted cut finished up her look.

Lea Michele wore a J. MENDEL SPRING 2016 strapless white & black stripe dress with an asymmetrical grommet skirt. I like Lea's look, simple & sexy which is her signature. GIUSEPPE ZANOTTI sandals, smokey eyes and side swept straight tresses completed her look. 

Hunter King wore a BCBG burgundy v-neck dress with a choker detail, sheer long sleeves and a flare skirt. The dress is cute, I just wish she wore a more interesting pair of heels. 

Joey King joined her sister Hunter wearing a MESTIZA black strapless jumpsuit with a beaded flower waist. I kinda wish she went with sandals over the KURT GEIGER pumps and that she went for a colored lip over the espresso smokey eye. However her look worked for the occasion. A braided crown, AURATE jewelry and a JUDITH LEIBER clutch topped off her look.

Melissa McCarthy was my favorite here as the actress looked beautiful in a JUDY B. SWARTZ pink knee length dress with long bell sleeves. To keep keep her look interesting, she accessorized with floral clutch. A nude clutch, center part curls and pink lips offset with a smokey eye completed her look.

Nia Long in Lanvin at the Keanu LA Premiere

Stepping out for a rare outing, Nia Long attended the premiere of her new film Keanu which was held at ArcLight Hollywood yesterday evening in Hollywood, CA. 

She hit the black carpet in the LANVIN SPRING 2016 black & cream Crinoline-trimmed printed mini dress with a ruched bodice, exaggerated ruffled shoulders and a created in a stretch-cotton blend for a close fit. 

I like her mini dress which also features graffiti writing that includes the brand's name. However it's the styling that doesn't work. For me, a sandal would have been ideal over her grey platform pumps. Also a colored lip wouldn't have hurt but the dress looks great on her nonetheless. A quiff side swept ponytail and a small clutch topped off her look. What do you think of Nia's styling?

Vanessa Hudgens worked her left leg in a pewter metallic KAYAT RESORT 2016 crossover dress which she styled with an RODO clutch and STUART WEITZMAN sandals. It can be hard wearing material like this without it looking like aluminum foil or a trash bag. However I think Vanessa nailed her look, it sultry with a edgy touch. 

Kate Hudson looked great in a strapless STELLA MCCARTNEY tuxedo jumpsuit which she styled with an JIMMY CHOO clutch and BRIAN ATWOOD heels. Her look was topped off with JORGE ADELER & SETHI COUTURE jewelry and a complimentary up-do. 

Meagan Good wore a mint ALICE + OLIVIA deep-v gathered handkerchief with a matching waistband for a cinched waist. On the beauty end, she rocked side swept Senegalese twists and a red lip.  I like how free and organic she looks here. BAVNA earrings and a EDIE PARKER clutch topped off her look.
