Blake Lively and more attended Variety`s Power of Women New York which was presented by Lifetime on Friday(April 21st) at Cipriani Midtown in New York.
Jessica Chastain wore a white & gold embroidered CAROLINA HERRERA knee length dress with short, knot detail sleeves and a v-neckline. To avoid a wash out, a fuchsia lip was added to her beauty look. I am still not crazy about the color on her but she doesn't look bad and her look worked for the occasion. A complimentary up-do and silver metallic STELLA LUNA pumps finished up her look.
Salma Hayek wore a BALENCIAGA RESORT 2017 black & white stripe peplum top with a draped panel and flutter sleeves. Her top was belted and paired with a black pencil skirt. I am not loving the pumps but her look works for the occasion. EDDIE BORGO jewelry, center part straight off-the-shoulder tresses, a red lip and a black clutch completed her look.
Ashley Graham worked her frame in a CUSHNIE ET OCHS dress which was adorned with a FLEUR DU MAL black lace-up corset belt. This look is giving me deja vu. ALISON LOU jewelry, SCHUTZ sandals, smokey eyes and straight off-the-shoulder tresses finished up her look.

Danielle Brooks served up a little cleavage action wearing a printed ELOQUII two-piece suit with a black bustier top underneath. I like the suit but I think my issue is the bustier and the matching shoes. I would have liked to see her with a white top/blouse underneath and I think a purple heel would have been a better color match.
Lena Dunham wore a long sleeve silver metallic dress styled with black mule pumps. This material can be hard to work because it can come off as unflattering in the mid-section like you see here. However I think this is one of Lena's best look.
Tina Knowles was honored at the event and she put on her power suit wearing a black two-piece number with a lace top underneath. Side parted tresses and a red lip finished up her look.
