Yesterday evening(May 12th) in London, some celebs hit the red carpet for the 2019 Virgin Media BAFTA TV awards at The Royal Festival Hall.
Ruth Wilson chose a dress from the ALESSANDRA RICH FALL 2019 collection. Her black v-neck, high slit maxi dress which was adorned with buttons, wasn't belted in the look book. However the addition of the belt worked in her favor.
Rochelle Humes snapped a pic of her look for instagram before she hit the red carpet. Her simplistic beauty look allowed nothing to compete with her black pleated SAINT LAURENT SPRING 2019 silk-chiffon dress.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge wore a A. TEODORO FALL 2019 split, cape sleeve, mock neck dress. On this occasion, I actually prefer the overall simple elegance of the white version on the model in the look book. Also I think she needed a better bra. NINA RUNSDORF earrings and a red lip rounded out her look.
Jodie Whittaker wore a long sleeve cream and black JASPER CONRAN FALL 2019 floor sweeping dress, which was accessorized with a black chain strap bag and SIF JAKOBS jewelry. The billowy shape is not the best on her, which is why I wish she belted the waist. Also the dress could have been hemmed about an inch.
Billie Piper worked the split on her DUNDAS SPRING 2019 COUTURE black one lone sleeve tuxedo dress, which she teamed with JIMMY CHOO mules. I actually prefer the runway styling with the stocking and sandals. However I would swap out the mules for sandals in general but she still looked great for the occasion.
Julia Stiles wore a J. MENDEL FALL 2019 navy & gold sequin stripe, silk blend v-neck gown. I like that the matching scarf was worn on the waist for a cinched effect. However I wish she hair was sleeker and although it is not visible, I would still swap out those SERGIO ROSSI pumps for gold sandals. TOMASZ DONOCIK jewelry rounded out her look.
