We can always count on Catherine Deneuve to delivery style wise when she hits the carpet at the film festivals. She attended premiere of her new film 'The Truth' and the opening ceremony of the 76th Venice Film Festival this evening(August 28th) in Venice, Italy.
Turning to one of her go to designer brands, she wore a JEAN PAUL GAULTIER FALL 2019 orange sleeveless, feather hem satin coat and a SPRING 2019 COUTURE black velvet strapless gown. On the runway, her coat was shown in a shorter version in the same color and green in the longer version.
The coat works in both hues, and I thought she nailed this look in a beautiful, edgy manner. I am on the fence about the pointy pumps because I think sandals would have been ideal but this is a still a standout look. Minimal make-up and a complimentary up-do rounded out her look.
