'Joker' 76th Venice Film Festival Premiere Wrap-up

The 'Joker' premiere took place this evening(August 30th) during the 76th Venice Film Festival at Sala Grande in Venice, Italy. To see all of the red carpet looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Bella Thorne wore a custom made crystal and metallic stud mesh asymmetric gown by PHILOSOPHY DI LORENZO SERAFINI. Even though I kinda wish this dress was lined, I still like it on Bella.

Rooney Mara who is on hand to support boyfriend Joaquin Phoenix, wore a white GIVENCHY dress which seems to be inspired by the SPRING 2018 COUTURE collection. If I had to anything here it would be a red lip or sparkly earrings. Also I would swap out those bridal pumps for a metallic ankle strap sandal.

Barbara Palvin was invited by GIORGIO ARMANI so naturally she is wearing a dress by the designer again. She wore a grey embroidered layered slip dress, with her hair in loose waves and adorned with a pink bow headband.

Joaquin Phoenix kept it classic in a black tuxedo in which he topped off with GARRETT LEIGHT sunglasses and shiny shoes.

Molly Sims worked her legs in a dress by NEDO BY NEDRET TACIROGLU. While the color somewhat washes her out, she looked lovely in this nude sequin dress, with a cascading ruffle panel split. A JIMMY CHOO clutch and STUART WEITZMAN sandals rounded out her look.

Hikari Mori wore a RALPH & RUSSO FALL 2019 black sheer, ruffle sequin halter dress, with a flowing train in the back. Instead of wearing ankle strap sandals, she opted for gold pumps, which topped off her great look.

Nieves Alvarez wore a ALBERTA FERRETTI FALL 2019 black sequin tulle, v-neck gown with thin straps. She dressed up her look emerald stone jewelry.

Sara Sampaio went the edgy, power suit route  yesterday but on this occasion, she opted for a elegant gown from the GIORGIO ARMANI PRIVE FALL 2019 collection. The model had fun on the carpet twirling in her pink & black pleated, pearl embellished gown.

Catherine Deneuve sparkled in a GIORGIO ARMANI FALL 2019 long sleeve black velvet and crystal beaded jumpsuit, with a long key-hole neckline, which was adorned with a ribbon. For a pop of color, she wore red pumps.

Alessandra Mastronardi ditched wearing a gown for a VALENTINO RESORT 2020 white feather cuff, button down shirt and a embroidered, split detail maxi skirt. I have to admit, I do like this ensemble but I wish she kept the belt.
