2023 Fashion Awards

Following the BIF awards, Sheila Atim and more attended the 2023 The Fashion Awards which was presented by Pandora at the Royal Albert Hall on Monday(December 4th) in London.

Taylor Russell looked beautiful in a custom look from the LOEWE SPRING 2024 collection. She never fails. She always gets it right.

Lewis Hamilton wore a WALES BONNER SPRING 2024 ensemble. I feel like neutral shoes would have been a better shoe choice but he always owns his looks. 

Sheila Atim looked like a beautiful villain wearing a HARRIS REED SPRING 2024 black strapless, velvet corset gown with opera gloves. I just love her style. 

Ellie Bamber made a rare appearance wearing a PRADA ensemble. While I don't think that she looks bad, her look is not memorable. 

Letitia Wright also wore a PRADA look. It's kinda hard to sell the dress over pants look but it is working on her. 

Amal Clooney looked beautiful waring a ATELIER VERSACE orange ombre gown. She just always gets it right. 

Gwendoline Christie wore a custom GILES DEACON satin dress and shawl. The top reminds me of ''Maleficent'' horns but she looked beautiful. My only quibble is the unfortunate creases due to the satin material. 

Anne Hathaway went the vintage route, wearing a VALENTINO SPRING 1993 COUTURE ivory fringe gown. She looked pretty. 

FKA Twigs also wore VALENTINO but her SPRING 2024 was sexy and layered for color. 

Gwyneth Paltrow also wore a vintage piece by VALENTINO. Love the look but the hair and the makeup didn't compliment it. She didn't do it justice.

Andrew Garfield wore a classic black tuxedo by VALENTINO. He looked clean and sharp. 

 

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley looked pretty wearing a VALENTINO RESORT 2024 black silk-chiffon, cutout dress with a flowing draped train panel in the back. 

Simone Ashley wore a VALENTINO SPRING 2024 white embroidered cutout mini dress. I kinda wish that she wore white or silver sandals instead of white.

Gillian Anderson looked great wearing a VALENTINO FALL 2023 COUTURE burgundy velvet, draped halter gown. 

Winnie Harlow looked gorgeous in a RICHARD QUINN SPRING 2024 black tier lace gown. My only callout is that I wish the entire bodice was lined. 

Sara Sampaio also wore a RICHARD QUINN SPRING 2024 tier gown. I actually like this but I feel the eye makeup is a bit too heavy. 

Maisie Williams wore a SIMONE ROCHA SPRING 2024 dress and I feel like the lips are too dark and the shoes too heavy. I'm not a fan of the dress either way. 

Mona Tougaard wore head to toe ALAIA FALL 2023 COUTURE and she looked pretty. 

Charli XCX dipped into the JEAN PAUL GAULTIER archive for this SPRING 2004 COUTURE dress. I wish that she wore red heels or a black open-toe heel. 

Abbey Clancy made a rare appearance wearing a YUHAN WANG SPRING 2024 cutout lace dress. It's a lot going on here and it's not my favorite look. 

Alexa Chung wore a custom 16ARLINGTON SPRING 2024 silver pailliettes dress and I like it on her. 

Felicity Jones wore a ERDEM SPRING 2024 white tulle embroidered dress. Felicity's dress was layered for coverage which worked for her. 

Jodie Comer utilized the pockets on her VICTORIA BECKHAM SPRING 2024 black sleeveless, tuxedo mini dress which was styled with sheer black tights and black ankle strap sandals. 

Jourdan Dunn served up some drama, wearing a THAIHUY black semi-sheer & velvet dress with a draped panel and hat. Love this but I don't like her shoe choice. I feel like open-toe heels would have been better. 

Leomie Anderson wore a sheer, broken mirror embellished dress from the JULIEN MACDONALD x GABRIELA FALL 2023 dress. She just look gorgeous in this. 

Nicole Scherzinger wore a PATRICK MCDOWELL layered one-shoulder gown. The design of the bra cups looks a bit weird but her beauty look is on point. 

Ashley Park kept it simple but pretty in a black & silver embellished dress by DAVID KOMA.

Olivia Culpo wore a MISS SOHEE SPRING 2023 COUTURE black strapless, velvet gown with shell draped panels on the side. Love the gown but not the way it sits on the bust. 

Paloma Faith posed in a ANDREAS KRONTHALER for VIVIENNE WESTWOOD FALL 2023 iridescent taffeta dress. I feel like this would have worked if her hair was sleek and off-the-shoulder. 

Sam Smith wore a custom ANDREAS KRONTHALER by VIVIENNE WESTWOOD FALL 2023 skirt suit. I actually prefer the print of the runway version but the black suits him. 

Iris Law wore a custom VIVIENNE WESTWOOD ensemble and I like this on her. 

Laura Whitmore also wore a look by VIVIENNE WESTWOOD. Her signature black draped dress was paired with thigh-high socks and platform shoes. 

Pamela Anderson went makeup free wearing a STELLA MCCARTNEY suit. I can't say that I like the suit but I like the makeup free approach. 

Michaela Cole looked simply pretty wearing a SALVATORE FERRAGAMO white two-piece ensemble. 

Pixie Lott wore head to toe SCHIAPARELLI FALL 2023 COUTURE and I don't like the fur sleeves. 

Sabrina Elba looked beautiful wearing a strapless black velvet, peplum gown by HARRIS REED. 

Rita Ora wore a PRIMARK black dress and it was the back that stood out because of the detailed spikes which you can see HERE.

Wallis Day made a rare appearance, rocking a sexy, edgy ensemble by XI SCROPII. The fit of the top looks a bit too tight but this is a cool look that works for her. 

Ella Balinska wore a DEL CORE strapless embellished & silk gown with sheer black opera gloves. I like the idea of this but the top looks a bit ill-fitting and the creases aren't helping. 

Tessa Thompson served up some leg wearing  head to toe LOEW. The hem and draping is a bit wonky but it works for her. 

Ellie Goulding wore a MONCLER x SACAI FALL 2023 black dress with a crop down jacket over it. I prefer this without the crop jacket.

Liya Kebede made a rare appearance wearing a DURO OLOWU SPRING 2024 green printed ensemble. I like the addition of the belt because it offered up the perfect balance to break up the print.  

Lily James wore navy & black embellished halter dress by MIU MIU. This would have been cute but that cutout detail doesn't work for me. 

Poppy Delevingne sparkled in a Bespoke EMILIA WICKSTEAD silver embellished mini dress with a train in the back. This is cute but I don't think the pumps works with it. Open-toe heels would have been better. 

Suki Waterhouse showed off her baby bump in a H&M STUDIOS HOLIDAY 2023 dark red strapless, tulle gown. 

Temi Otedola looked gorgeous wearing a STANDING GROUND SPRING 2024 pink draped dress. I am not a fan of the draping on the skirt but she does look fantastic in this color.
