73rd Annual Golden Globe Men's

The 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel took place last night in Beverly Hills, California. While the ladies received a lot of attention, the men made some noise on the carpet as well. 

Michael B. Jordan usually steps out in printed suits but the 'Creed' star opted for a classic black tuxedo from DIOR HOMME. 

David Oyelowo was perhaps my favorite looking sharp in a printed burgundy tuxedo courtesy of DOLCE & GABBANA. A MONT BLANC watch and LOUBOUTIN shoes finished up his look.

Eddie Redmayne turned to his go to brand GUCCI for his red carpet look. While it's hard to see, the actor's classic black tuxedo featured purple embroidered details which kept his look interesting.

73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards Wrap-up

Last night the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards took place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. To see all of the red carpet looks, click HERE and continue below for the wrap-up.

Amber Heard wore a pink tulle layered GUCCI gown with an floral embellished neckline. While this gown is something to what we have seen from the brand before, Amber looks beautiful. A faux light wavy bob and a red lip topped off her glam look.

Queen Latifah turned to her go to brand BADGLEY MISCHKA for her look. Her aqua dress featured an embellished yoke. I like her LORRAINE SCHWARTZ drop earrings but I wish she opted for something smaller so that it didn't compete with her dress. Nonetheless, love the color and she was beautiful. A side parted straight bob and glossy lips completed her look.

Olivia Wilde also wore one of her go to brands, MICHAEL KORS. I love the rich, sleek look of her burgundy sequin halter dress which was accessorized with a statement necklace and a beaded clutch. A matching smokey eye and center part off-the-shoulder soft waves completed her look.

Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior at the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards

Before snatching up her award, Jennifer Lawrence was all smiles as she hit the red carpet this evening for the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.

The actress of course wore a custom look from CHRISTIAN DIOR. Her sleeveless red dress featured a crop top effect detail and a peep-a-boo flirty cut-out waist. Jennifer & Dior isn't the best marriage for me but the color is what keeps this interesting. 

Adding bling to her vibrant red dress, she accessorized with a diamond bib necklace. Her look was topped of with a complimentary up-do and matching lip. Overall while this is not a bad look, it didn't live up to expectations. What do you think of JLaw's look?

She hit the carpet wearing a regal white MARCHESA SPRING 2016 layered tulle one-shoulder gown with a key hole detail and a draped shoulder panel. To compliment her look, I wish Lily went with simple up-do over her center center part waves.

Also a complimentary colored lip like featured on the runway wouldn't have hurt. The dress is simply beautiful but her beauty look doesn't compliment it for a standout appeal. A light espresso smokey eye and a diamond ring & bracelet completed her look.

Congrats to Taraji P. Henson who just snagged her first Golden Globe this evening for her role on the hit show 'Empire'. Taraji attended the Globes and the BET Celebration of Gospel wearing STELLA MCCARTNEY on both occasions. 

Yesterday evening she attended the 2016 BET Celebration of Gospel at Orpheum Theatre in LA. She wore a black lace panel gown with a train detail. I have similar looks like this from the designer before on the carpet so it doesn't make it a stand out for me. Beauty wise, she went with a quiff up-do and glossy lips. 

For the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards this evening at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, she wore a white strapless column dress with a dramatic cape detail in the back. A gold mirrored chain small tote and a side parted bob finished up her look. 

While she is working both looks here, I can't help but feel a bit underwhelmed. I was really hoping for something standout from her. Which of Taraji's Stella McCartney looks do you favor.

I am not sure how I feel about that nude panel on the sides of the bodice but overall her look has a goth, princess like vibe which isn't that exciting. Ditching the statement necklace from the runway, her look was topped off with light but flawless make-up and a half up half down hairstyle.

Will Smith will kept it simple in a classic tuxedo from TOM FORD which her paired with a white button down shirt, a black bow tie and black patent shoes.

I do love this gown and I am glad that she is wearing it better than it looked on the runway. However I would have loved to see her with a sleek up and strappy sandals over her shimmery pumps. A complimentary red lip, a beaded clutch  and diamond accessories completed her look.
