2025 Best Dressed Fashionista/o Looks of the Year

Hi all! It's time to bring this year to close with my picks for Best Dressed Fashionista/o of the Year. Thank you all for following and for the support whether you comment or not. I can't wait to see what styles 2026 brings. Happy New Year!

1. Zendaya in Louis Vuitton at the 2025 MET Gala in which her look was an ode to the iconic film 'Mahogany.' This was the perfect interpretation to the theme for the gala, but also a flawless, chic power suit moment that was unforgettable. The tailoring was on point and the hat added another layer of perfection to her overall look.

2. Janelle Monae in Thom Browne in collaboration with Oscar winner, costume designer Paul Tazewll at the 2025 MET Gala. Her execution on the theme that night was nothing short of spectacular and the most dramatic take. When it comes to wearing suits, Janelle is in her own lane. 

3. Colman Domingo in Dolce & Gabbana at the 2025 VF Oscar party continued to prove why he is in his own style lane. He has been on a consistent style role delivering impactful looks and this one tops the list.

4. Janelle Monae brought whimsical drama wearing Thom Browne Spring 2026 to the 2025 Rock N Roll Hall of Fame ceremony. If anyone can bring a fussy look like this to life off the runway, it's Janelle. I don't think anyone else could pull this off with the same results. 

5. Teyana Taylor in Tamara Ralph Fall 2024 Couture at the 'All's Fair' London premiere was easily one of my top favorite looks this year. I am usually not a fan of celebs copying the runway look, but with the addition of her jewelry and flawless beauty look, she top this runway look to new heights. 

6. Colman Domingo in custom Valentino at the 82nd Venice Festival was another memorable, impactful look that he served us with. The gold fringe added a playful touch to his sharp look.

7. Helen Mirren served us with a moment wearing custom Badgley Mischka at the 78th Cannes Festival. The accessories especially that necklace is what made her overall look impactful.  

8. Anna Sawai in custom Giorgio Armani at the 31st SAG awards was stunning. She looked amazing in this red hue and her sparkling moment didn't go unnoticed. 

9. Elaine Zhong Chuxi in Elie Saab Spring 2023 Couture at the 78th Cannes Festival was an unforgettable look for me. It has a bridal feel to it, but she delivered an elegant look for the occasion. 

10. Teyana Taylor in Schiaparelli Spring 2026 at the 'All's Fair' Paris premiere was a sexy, elegant look and she was the right person to rock this dress. She made it look effortless. 

11. Naomi Ackie in Versace at the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards was my favorite because how the fit was perfect and how elegantly beautiful this look was. It wasn't forgotten and she the standout of the night.

12. DaVine Joy Randolph in custom Tamara Ralph Couture at the 97th Oscars was another stunning look from the actress whose style has been on a consistent role. She looked elegant and the long silk-chiffon scarf added subtle drama to her look.  

13. Ariana Grande in Christian Dior Fall 2017 at the 2025 Governors Awards is one of my favorite look. Although, I wasn't a fan of the color on her or the head styling, she still looked divine and this was one of her top best looks ever. 

14. Laura Harrier in Gap Studio at the 2025 MET Gala was one of the standout looks of that night. It was perfectly on theme and she looked fantastic. I loved the dramatic appeal of the voluminous sleeves and wide-leg pants. The combo was executed perfectly and she looked chic.

15. Halle Berry in Christian Siriano at the 2025 Oscars was one of my favorites that night. I love the fit and how stunning she looked. This was easily one of her top best looks. 

16. Chase Infiniti in Iris Van herpen Fall 2025 Couture at the 'One Battle After Another' London premiere and she looked dramatically beautiful. 

17. Mahershala Ali in custom Etro Resort 2026 for the 'Jurassic World Rebirth' London premiere and he looked sharp. I loved this green hue on him and the burgundy hat popped nicely against it. 

18. Michelle Yeoh in Givenchy Fall 2025 at the Wicked NY premiere and instead of going her usually elegant route, she opted for an eye-catching, playful look.

19. Matt Bomer in custom Berluti at the 2025 Critics Choice awards and the color was the star here. Although, I wasn't sold on the shoes, this was still an impactful look.

20. Selena Gomez in Giorgio Armani at the 2025 VF Oscar party and I think this is was one of her best looks in a long time. She looked absolutely gorgeous.
