Gwen Stefani in Vera Wang Bridal at the 45th E! People's Choice Awards

Before she was honored with the 'Fashion Icon' award, Gwen Stefani posed on the red carpet yesterday evening(November 10th) at the 45th E! People's Choice Awards at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA.

For the occasion, Gwen chose a dress from the VERA WANG BRIDAL FALL 2020 collection. Her white strapless taffeta high-low hem gown featured an over-sized bow in the back and the gathered hem train featured the word 'Love' on it. 

Gwen paired her bridal piece with her signature black fishnet stockings and CASADEI thigh-high boots and black opera gloves. Honestly I wish she wore ankle strap sandals or pumps and left the gloves out. However the styling here is so Gwen. What do you think of the styling of Gwen's look?

Ellie Goulding & Caspar Jopling Wedding

Ellie Goulding married Caspar Jopling today(August 31st) in York, England and the singer was joined by a few friends for her big day. 

Ellie Goulding walked down the aisle in a beautiful Bespoke CHLOE silk double crêpe dress, which was hand-embroidered with white roses of York, and embellished white glass beads. Apparently her custom piece took more than 640 hours to create.

Caspar Joplin wore a classic Bespoke three-piece suit by HUNTSMAN, which was adorned with a flower corsage.

Elle Fanning was on hand during the festival as a juror member and she delivered some great looks but this REEM ACRA FALL 2019 BRIDAL piece is one of my top favorites. Her white crystal embellished strapless lace & tulle gown, was paired with a tulle and crystal cape. The beautiful CHOPARD blue stone earrings and slick pulled up-do, complimented her elegant look.

Cynthia Erivo in Vera Wang Bridal at the 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards

Following her attendance at a nominees party, Cynthia Erivo attended the 2019 EE British Academy Film Awards this evening(February 10th) at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Whether it is a hit or miss, Cynthia always takes a fashion risk and this VERA WANG SPRING 2019 BRIDAL look is no different. You may remember that Sofia Boutella wore a similar version. Granted I love the drama of this big nude and purple tulle gown but I am not sold. 

The bustier top is extremely tight and in several of her red carpet images, she can see a partial nipple. Love Cynthia but if the styling/fit was better, this could have been a win. What do you think of Cynthia's look?

Following her attendance at the MET gala, Deepika Padukone headed to the 71st Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France to attend the 'Sorry Angel' premiere this evening(May 10th).

Deepika was elegantly beautiful wearing a ZUHAIR MURAD FALL 2018 BRIDAL sleeveless figure hugging semi-sheer gown with a plunging neckline and fully beaded in white shimmering stones and leaves with the matching cape. 

Deepika is one of the many celebs that is on hand as a guest of L'oreal and her make-up is flawless because of the brand's products. Side parted tresses and statement jewelry finished up her look.

It's been a while since we have seen Brie Larson on the carpet because she has been working on two new films for Marvel which comes out in 2019. However the actress made her way to the purple carpet for the 'Avengers: Infinity War' premiere in LA yesterday evening(April 23rd). 

Brie was a regal beauty wearing a white floor length gown from the CAROLINA HERRERA SPRING 2019 BRIDAL collection. Her gown featured a sultry cutout back and a train detail. 

Brie dressed up her white gown with jewelry courtesy of TIFFANY & CO which topped off her look along with a pink lip and side parted straight tresses.

On Thursday(June 22) Cara Santana hosted a bridal shower with Vow to Be Chic which is a leading bridal rental service. Vow to Be Chic is partnering with Monique Lhuillier Brides on an exclusive capsule collection. 

At the event, Cara wore her namesake 'Cara' dress in blush which features a strapless chiffon column gown with feminine ruffle detail. The dress is available in eight different colors exclusively on Vow to be Chic for $119.  

I think this dress is simply pretty and can be worn for any occasion. Cara who is engaged to actor Jesse Metcalfe, finished up with a complimentary beauty look.

Reem Acra Bridal Spring 2014 Presentation

Recently during Bridal Market Spring 2014, I attended the REEM ACRA runway show and the body became the focal point for this season's bride. The theme of the collection is 'Thank You For The Love' which was printed on the veils the models were wearing. It's all about finding your sensuality with a fresh approach.

Reem played close attention to detailing as she always does with beautiful hand embroidered fabrics that defined and flattered the figure. Lace and sheer illusion panels were done on the necklines & the backs which added a sultry edge to the gowns. The peplum trend continues to bridal which is no surprise as this has been a huge trend for a while in RTW lines. The designer incorporated this detail in her collection as well.

One of the main things that stood out in the collection to me, was the veils. I have already pictured myself in one especially the umbrella veil. Other standouts includes cascading tulle skirts, a mini illusion embroidered dress and a column gown with a feathery organza mermaid finish. Recently I had the opportunity to attend the press preview for the WHITE by VERA WANG SPRING 2012 bridal collection. The line features bridal gowns, bridesmaids dresses, accessories and shoes which is exclusively sold at DAVID'S BRIDAL. For Spring 2012 there are nine styles in total that range from $500-$1500 and are uniquely designed to cater to a bride's needs for her special day. The simplicity of the detailing in the collection is what makes it stand out. Soft hues of white, ivory and blush complete the color palette. Strapless gowns in taffeta and garza along with clean detailing like the mermaid finish, A-line silhouettes and asymmetrical  necklines and bodices. LOEFFLER RANDALL'S bridal collection launched today on their website in an array of styles that are playful and classic but with a modern twist. You still have your traditional style like the Zuri Rosette Stiletto(shown above) that comes in blush and white with a tulle rosette detail. This is one of Jessica Randall's, the Creative Director top pick. The Natane Lace-up Stiletto in midnight velvet(shown below), is also one of Jessica's top pick and a favorite of mine. These strappy stiletto's are perfect for the confident bride to showcase her inner fashionista and to keep with the tradition of something blue on her special day. This stiletto also comes in a "Platium metallic lizard leather print", which is very bold but doable.
